Poker is a card game in which players place bets at regular intervals. During a hand, one player has the privilege of making the first bet, while the other players must wait for their turn to bet. Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. Some variants have more or less decks and may include jokers. Players make bets by comparing the value of each poker hand with the value of the other player’s cards. Depending on the rules of the game, bets can be made with real money or chips.
